I am a a technologist, researcher, and science communicator dedicated to safe and responsible implementation of emerging technologies.

My name is Anna Nickelson. I recently served a year in Senator Ben Ray Lujan’s office as a Senior Congressional Innovation Fellow. Prior to my time on the hill, I completed a Ph.D. in Robotics from Oregon State University. I also have a Bachelors in Mathematics from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and spent six years as a project manager in the tech industry.
